My past

Eleonora De Poi was born in Vittorio Veneto in 1997.

She began studying the violin at the age of six and then continued her studies in 2011 at the “A.Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto under the guidance of Michele Lot and Stefano Pagliari, graduating in 2016 with 10, honors and special mention, also obtaining a special prize as the best student of the Conservatory.

She also graduated brilliantly in 2018 from the Bachelor in Violin Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Ilya Grubert and Maria Milstein as teachers.

In 2020 she also graduated in Viola with full marks at the “B. Maderna” Conservatory of Cesena, after studying with Richard Wolfe at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

She studied Chamber Music with Domenico Nordio, Filippo Faes, the Parma Trio, Frank van de Laar and Paul Scheepers.

She plays an ancient Italian violin from 1673.

Eleonora has won several awards in national and international competitions both as a soloist, as a duo and in a quartet as first violin.

In Orchestras she has played all over the world both as Concertmaster and as a First Violin, receiving several compliments for her versatility.

She has participated in several Masterclasses with various important teachers including Giovanni e Federico Guglielmo, Fabian Rieser, Pierre Amoyal, Pavel Vernikov, Eliot Lawson, Yair Kless, Svetlana Makarova, Igor Volochine e Francesco De Angelis.
